We’re excited to introduce Mason, who joined HJ Collection in November 2024 as a Quantity Surveyor. Although new to the team, Mason has quickly proven to be a valuable asset, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong drive to everything he does.

At HJ Collection, we pride ourselves on managing every stage of the property development process internally. Mason sees this approach as key to ensuring the quality, efficiency, and transparency that sets us apart. “By overseeing every phase, we can ensure tight control over timelines, costs, and standards, which is vital to our mission of addressing the UK’s housing crisis,” he shared. This approach allows us to transform underutilised spaces into much-needed affordable homes while embracing sustainable practices.

“Sustainability is integral to our ethos,” Mason added. “By repurposing materials from our sites, we significantly reduce waste and minimise our environmental footprint.”

Looking ahead, Mason is excited to be a part of key developments like Abigail Court in Lowestoft. This project, which is undergoing a major transformation, is one he’s particularly eager to see come to life.

Outside of work, Mason’s life revolves around his two Tornjak dogs—rare mountain rescues from Bosnia—and his love for adventure, including travelling Asia.

For Mason, the future of property development lies in maximising value, embracing innovation, and prioritising sustainability. “Seeing a project through from planning to delivery while adding value is what I’m most passionate about,” he explained.

As he continues to grow in his role, we’re confident that Mason’s expertise and enthusiasm will help drive HJ Collection forward. We look forward to his continued contributions as we work towards our vision of creating vibrant, sustainable spaces for the future.
