Ipswich

Carr Street is a redundant commercial building with Planning Permission for the conversion of the upper floors into 18 Apartments, 17 x 1 Bedroom and 1 x 2 Bedroom. The building is located in a secondary Town Centre position with good public transport links. Having stood empty for a number of years, repurposing this run-down building allows us to breathe new life into an otherwise dormant and unwanted structure to provide much-needed residential accommodation.

Location

Ipswich is the County Town of Suffolk and is one of the oldest English Towns, home to over 1,500 years of heritage. Ipswich is located about 9 kilometers inland on the River Orwell and is surrounded by two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - The Suffolk Coast And Heaths, and Dedham Vale. The Ipswich Waterfront was historically an Industrial Port and was known as the largest and most important Dock in the UK.

Today, the Waterfront has been transformed into a trendy area lined with high-rise Apartment blocks, Restaurants and Cafes/Bars. This picturesque setting houses the Town's impressive Marina and is also home to one of the UK's newest universities, The University of Suffolk. Ipswich was voted as the 7th most desirable place to live and work in England by the Royal Mail in 2017.

"Overall, sold prices in Ipswich over the last year were 7% up on the previous year and 17% up on the 2020 peak of £239,180." Source: Rightmove
